Archive of the Faculty of Sports

The archive of the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto conserves and preserves the Faculty’s old collections. It mainly includes administrative documentation since 1969, when the College of Physical Education Instructors (Escola de Instrutores de Educação Física) of the University of Porto was created. Since this period, some changes were made to the structure and operation of the college. Eventually, it was renamed and it is now the current Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto (FADEUP).

The archive includes 3600 installation units distributed in 307 linear metres of bookshelves that keep documentation with historical and patrimonial value, as well as documentation with administrative value that supports the activities run by different services and offices at FADEUP.
