SANDRA TORRES

Assistant Professor

Sandra Torres is Assistant Professor at the University of Porto (FPCEUP). She directs the Psychological Counselling Unit in Eating Disorders and Obesity, at FPCEUP. She is invited researcher at the Clinical Research Group on Eating Disorders (Hospital S. João) and member of the COST Action IS1210 “Appearance Matters: Tackling the Physical and Psychosocial Consequences of Dissatisfaction with Appearance”. Research interests include the study of risk and maintenance factors in eating disorders and obesity, in particular, the influence of taste perception, and emotional processing impairments in eating behavior.
