Portulex

Portulex is a lexical database that contains words from children's schoolbooks for reading and language instruction from grades 1 to 4. In the lemma database, words are shown in uninflected form (N = ca 8,400), and in the wordform database words are presented in inflected form (N = ca. 17,100). In both databases, frequency and morphological classifications are presented for each entry. It is presented as an excel file. The reference to Portulex is: Teixeira, C., & Castro, S. L. (2007). Porlex

Porlex is a lexical database in European Portuguese containing psycholinguistic and cognitive information that is useful to select stimulus materials for experiments and/or training vocabularies. It was built on the basis of a middle-sized adult lexicon, and provides orthographic, phonological, phonetic, part-of-speech, and neighborhood information for about 30 000 words (uninflected content words and inflected function words). Porlex is presented as an excel file.

Age-of-Acquisition and Familiarity database

This database contains estimated age-of-acquisition (AOA) and familiarity ratings for 408 Portuguese dissyllabic nouns selected from Porlex.
