• President, office assumed by the Director;
• Vice-President, one of the teaching and researching members in the Executive Council;
• Eighteen elected members (by the teachers and researchers);
• Five elected members (by the R&D units).

Responsibilities

a) To write and approve its regulations;
b) To comment on proposals for FLUP's strategic and action plans;
c) To review FLUP's plan for scientific activities;
d) To comment on the creation, transformation or dissolution of FLUP’s departments;
e) To comment on the creation, transformation or dissolution of FLUP’s R&D Centres;
f) To comment on the conclusions prepared by the Director on evaluation reports of FLUP’s R&D Centres, and those in which teachers and researchers participate;
g) To deliberate on teaching service allocation, submitting it for the approval of FLUP’s Director;
h) To comment on the proposals for new study cycles in which FLUP might participate, and approve their respective syllabus;
i) To propose the awarding of titles or honorary distinctions;
j) To propose and to comment on the creation of awards;
k) To propose and to comment on international agreements and partnerships;
l) To comment on proposals for members of panels for examinations and for opening of recruitment processes;
m) To practice other acts provided by the law, concerning teaching and research career, and the recruitment of teaching and research staff.
