Library of the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health Sciences

The mission of the i3S Library is to provide fast and efficient access to knowledge by providing, disseminating and managing information resources. These are mainly in electronic format and accessible for free or by subscription.

The Library’s activities are focused on:

• The selection, assessment, acquisition and provision of information sources that are essential to the institution’s research areas;
• The dissemination of the available electronic resources;
• Effective management of users' information requests;
• The efficient management of user information requests;
• Supporting users when working with available information resources;
• Management of i3S publications in the University of Porto repository.

Opening Hours

Internal users – 24 hours per day (card access).
External users – By appointment.
