Library of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

The Library of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto aims at providing the academic community with the necessary bibliographic resources for research and teaching.

Its purpose is to facilitate access to existing documentation and information in various formats. This is done using a set of services that the library promotes, provides and works with in order to respond to user requests in a fast and efficient way.

The Library provides open spaces to its users with free access, giving them the opportunity to move freely in all areas and to be in direct contact with the collections.

Opening Hours

Term time: Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Holidays: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
