Library of the Faculty of Sports

The Library of the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto, also known as Professor Doutor António Marques Library, aims at providing services to lecturers, researchers, students and staff in the Faculty. It is also available to other institutions of the University of Porto, to any Public University or to people researching in the field of Sports Sciences.

Training readers to search databases, the catalogue, and to manage bibliography (EndNote) is an important component of our activity. We also give special emphasis to the Inter-library Loan Service and to the acquisition of documents.

The Library has 68 seats in its reading room and it is equipped with a bibliographic collection of more than 20 000 volumes that are constantly being updated.

Opening Hours

Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (the closing time is subject to change during the month of August).
