Library of the Faculty of Architecture

The Library of the Faculty of Architecture, integrated in the University of Porto, is dedicated to serve the university and scientific community, as well as the general public. It is specialised in the field of Architecture, with emphasis being placed on Urbanism, Art and History. It includes about 30 000 monographs, more than 300 serial publications, different multimedia material, digital formats and cartographic material, all inserted in the collective electronic catalogue of the University.

Its activities are focused on the acquisition, collection, treatment and disclosure of pedagogical, scientific and cultural documentation; on the production and disclosure of information; on scientific-pedagogic activity support; on improving the educational process; on promoting contact with other Libraries or Documentation Centres; on ensuring the conservation and retrieval of information.

Opening Hours

Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 18:30 p.m. (except the room for reserved works, which is open for the collection of documentation from 9:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
