Recognition of prior learning and experience

The request for recognition of prior learning (opcional), shall be submitted upon enrolment and is subject to the payment of the fee indicated in No. 13 of U.Porto’s table of fees. The fee is non-refundable.

Acknowledgement of special status

Students seeking to benefit from a special status (student-workers, students with special education needs and disabilities, leaders of student associations, U.Porto’s elite athletes, etc.) shall submit the necessary documentation as per the respective regulations. Scholarships

Documents needed to request a scholarship:

• Declaration of request for scholarship (upon enrolment);
• Copy of the aforementioned request (up to 30 days after enrolment/registration);
• (3rd cycle students) Scholarship from the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (Foundation for Science and Technology - FCT):
  the student or researcher seeking a scholarship from FCT for postgraduate studies or research shall check the following link.
