Withdrawing a cycle of studies

Students who intend to withdraw from their enrolment in a school year are due to pay their tuition fees, in accordance with the Amendment to U.Porto’s Tuition Fees Regulations, Order No. GR.09/07/2020.

1st cycle (Undergraduate), 2nd cycle (Masters) and 3rd cycle (Doctoral) programmes:
"A request to withdraw from enrolment/registration up to the end of the first semester is subject to payment of all tuition fees up to the month of request, inclusively. Once the first semester is concluded, the full year’s tuition fee is due”


Students with rejected Scholarship applications are exempt from paying any fee insofar as they request to withdraw from their enrolment/registration within ten working days after scholarship rejection (U.Porto’s Tuition Fees Regulations, no. 404/2015, Article no. 6 - 6).


The intent of withdrawal shall be made official by way of a request, available on the student’s personal area.
