Competence Centres

FEUP has been promoting the creation of multidisciplinary Competence Centres, in order to complement the knowledge and multiple skills of its R&D Units and Interface Institutes. To obtain the best research results, cooperation with companies and industries is also a key factor.

The Competence Centres boost the development of innovative technological solutions that may be particularly relevant to society and for economic development, thus affirming FEUP’s position as a national and international benchmark in R&D and Innovation.
