Abstract (EN): The present paper tests the applicability, and compares four statistical tests to assess repeatability of linear spectrophotometric assays. Based on the experimental results reported here, and taking into account several hypothetical models of spectrophotometric assays, it was concluded that the coefficient of variation of the slope together with significance tests for the homogeneity of the regressions by analysis of covariance, can provide a test to assess repeatability in linear assays. A protocol to assess repeatability in spectrophotometric assays is presented.
