Abstract (EN):
The current work, carried out in the scope of MsC degree in Civil Engineering, aimed to characterize a commercially available cement-based composite for 3D printing. The exact composition of the mortar is unknown, and the supplier cannot be disclosed. However, the mortar constituent are CEM I 52.5, quartz sand <1 mm, limestone filler, rheology admixtures and polypropylene fibers. The water-to-solid weight ratio is 0.16. The mechanical properties were assessed from 2 to 28 days on cast specimens. In addition, the thermal conductivity test was performed for both cast and printed specimens, see Figure 1. In printed specimens, four different boundary conditions were evaluated, varying the printing speed and layer height. Figure 2 depicts casted and printed specimens.
