Eligibility for exams
- 1 writen test
- 1 individual project
All the assessment components are required.
The written test focuses on the theoretical contents of the program. The individual project focuses on a topic to be discussed between the teacher and the student, in conjunction with the program contents and the interests and professional skills of the students in the field of tourism. Both components are carried out throughout the semester and delivered on dates to be indicated by the teacher at the beginning of classes.
Failure to pass the curricular unit (with failure due to lack of an assessment component) implies that the student must complete new assessment components during the supplementary period: written test and individual project. On the first day of assessment of the supplementary period, the new project statement is made available on the course page.
Calculation formula of final grade
- writen test - 40%
- individual project - 60% (40% for the final version and 20% for the oral presentation of ongoing version's project)
In order to be approved in this course, the final classification must be equal to or higher than 10 values. The classification of each component must be less than 9,5 values.
During the supplementary period, the weights attributed to the components will be maintained: 40%, written test; 60%, individual project, final written version.
Examinations or Special Assignments
Does not apply.
Internship work/project
Does not apply.
Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)
Students who, in accordance with the evaluation standards of FLUP, are not covered by the attendance component are required to contact the teacher at the beginning of the classes.
To carry out the individual project throughout the semester and deliver it on the date indicated for the normal period, these students must carry out an oral presentation of the ongoing version's project on the proposed dates. The weights assigned to the assessment components are those provided for in the curricular unit: 60% for the individual project (40% final written presentation and 20% oral presentation ongoing version) and 40% for the individual test.
Classification improvement
The improvement of final classification is carried out in accordance with the rules of FLUP. It is possible to improve the final classification of individual test. The final classification is the result of the weighted average, and according to the weights assigned, of the highest classifications obtained by the student in the assessment components provided for in the curricular unit.
Observations
The students should consult the assessment document and all materials available online.
The teacher will display at the beginning of the classes the opening hours for students.
