Objectives
The Course provides a systematic view of the links between Music and Literature in both historical and theoretical perspectives. Inquiring these two arts, their specificities and their mutual confluences, contributes to the enrichment of society and the culture of all people who wish a short term Course on the topic.
Learning outcomes and competences
At the end of the course unit, the learner is expected to be able to:
a) Understand the transversal concepts of the arts of music and literature;
b) Know the historical tradition of the relationship between music and literature;
c) Relate empirically the contacts and intersemiotic transfers of the two arts between them.
