The objectives are related with the theoretical-practical learning acquired in the first year of the study cycle, working in this curricular unit as the basis for the learning experience in a real context of the work for the GIS and OT professionals, providing privileged experiences of application of their skills for solving challenges and problems posed by the Internship Institution.
In the end, the student must do a Training Report that will mirror not only the progress made and constraints encountered during their stay at the host institution, as present the results of research conducted on a selected theme, the state of knowledge, information sources raised / used, and capital gains the application of techniques and updated methodologies.

Learning outcomes and competences

By choosing a qualified partner, or FLUP himself, for training in exercise of the student, the Faculty allows him to have a real professional experience, though protected, to enrich and consolidate the previous school career.

The internship should promote the application to concrete problems of the knowledge acquired throughout the course, in which skills and attitudes must disclose initiative, decision power, and innovative, creative and critical thinking. It should look on: the survey and analysis of information; the selection of methodological approaches and resolution tools in order to deal with practical issues; the exercise of synthesis; the preparation of a relevant internship report.

- Quality of work presented;
- Combination and application of competences related to the Cycle of Studies;
- Quality of the solutions found by the student in solving the tasks and challenges posed by the II.
