Objectives

The main goal for this class is to provide students with tools which will allow them to critically reflect upon today’s Spain, returning to a recent past in order to draw a political, social, economical and artistic point of view. Students will be talked through the profound changes Spain has experienced over the last century, as well as the processes which have transformed the nation in a modern and developed country, despite the meaningful core diversity and the consequent internal and external conflicts.
