Objectives

1. Acquisition of some formal basic tools allowing to better understand some fundamental linguistic relations;
2. To relate logics and linguistics inorder to make more clear several aspects of the languages;
Relacionar lógica e linguística de modo a tornar mais claros vários aspectos das línguas;
3. To show how some logic systems provide rigorous tools to study languages.

The students should have acquired the following competences:
1. Basic knowledge of propositional logic and predicate logic
2. Resolution of exercises and problems in the relation natural language / logics
