Application, registration and enrollment in continuing education courses


In order to attend a continuing education course, you will need to carry out the following procedures:
  • Online application (on the webpage of the course you want to take);
  • Enrolment (to create a new student number or link to an existing one) - only after receiving an e-mail with "Candidaturas com resultado colocado";
  • Registration, with tuition payment.
Please consult the calendar of the previous steps, on the webpage of each course.

To apply for a course, you must first log in to the information system. If it is your first time applying to a course at FLUP, you will have to request a temporary username, by filling in the New user form.
Please consult the instructions first.

1st STEP - Online ENROLMENT

⚠️PLEASE NOTE: Registration is only complete upon completion of the second step – registration in the course unit(s) – which must be done immediately after enrolment (first step). Once the enrolment deadline has passed, you will only be able to attend the course with the authorisation from FLUP Director through a late enrolment, which entails the payment of a fee (for late enrolment) of ¤22.00 in the first week, or ¤55.00 in the second week. After this deadline, enrolment is automatically cancelled, requiring a new application for a later edition.

Online registration and enrollment guide:




1. You must access the link: https://sigarra.up.pt/flup/en/INS_GERAL.MATRICULA using the same credentials (User ID and password) you used to apply;

2. When you submit your enrolment, your U.Porto student number (up202xxxxxx) will be generated;

3.1. If you are a new student, an email will automatically be sent to the address used in the application, with a link valid for 24 hours, for you to create your access password. (If you don't receive the email, check your spam box); If it expires, return to the Enrolment link with your application credentials and select the “Request a new email with the link...” button;

3.2. If you are an UP student or former student, you must use your student credentials (if you do not remember your credentials and have confirmed your personal details, recover them here. Otherwise, contact si@letras.up.pt and provide: Name | ID/passport | Email.

2nd STEP - online REGISTRATION

4. You must log in with the student credentials you created in the previous step (up202xxxxxx) and complete your registration using the link: https://sigarra.up.pt/flup/pt/INS_GERAL.INSCRICAO.

5. Once you have finished registering, you must access the "Current account" option in the right-hand side menu to proceed with payment, selecting ATM Reference, MBWAY, or Bank Card (debit or credit).

PLEASE NOTE: From the moment you enrol, you will always be required to pay the full course fee.

 






 
⚠️Please note: The second authentication factor is required for email/Teams/Office365. Installation of Microsoft Authenticator: instructions.
From 28 April, a new two-factor authentication (2FA) method will be mandatory for Institutional Authentication see instructions
The two-factor authentication (2FA) associated with AAI can be stored in the same app currently used for 2FA when accessing Microsoft Office 365, namely Microsoft Authenticator.


All enrolled students can check the amount of tuition to be paid by accessing their personal area >  "Current account" option on the right-hand side menu.

Payment can be made by the following methods:

  • FLUP’s Payments Office, (Tesouraria) on the 1st floor
  • MULTIBANCO Reference
  • MBWAY
  • Bank Card (debit or credit)

⚠️Enrolment on a Continuing Education course or unit/module/action implies that the candidate is aware of the information available on the course's webpage, as well as the Continuing Education procedures .
