There are several teaching methodologies. Theoretical-practical sessions – lecturing and discussion with students in the classroom about the topics of syllabus with the use of demonstrative examples. Tutorial sessions - presentation and discussion by students, organized in small groups, the texts and case studies previously selected and appointed by the teacher. The teacher publishes in SIGARRA / FLUP a developed summary for each topic of the syllabus with specific indications about the contents and bibliography. In SIGARRA / FLUP is available bibliography of some of the required reading.

According to the Assessment Regulations of FLUP, the evaluation includes a pre-requisite compliance with the attendance. The student meets this requirement does not exceed the maximum number of absences of 25% of TP and 25% of OT. Components of evaluation: individual written report; final exam; work in the sessions of tutorials.
Criteria weighting of each of the components of the final grade of the course: individual written with 35%, final exam, oral and if necessary, with 60%; work in orientation sessions tutorial with 10%. It is mandatory to carry out the work and individual written final exam.
Approval for the course is a condition that the marks obtained in the final written exam and oral is required, and the individual written is equal to or higher than 10, for each of them.
Students who are exempted, by law, from attending classes, and who wish to take the distributed assessment with final exam, have to submit written reports to replace the work normally done in tutorials. Students must schedule the dates with the lecturer responsible.
The student may apply for improving the classification in accordance with the Rules of FLUP . Improving classification focuses only on the final written exam and oral is required. Will be considered for the calculation of the final mark, the marks obtained in the remaining components. They keep the weighting of each of these components of evaluation and the conditions for approval for the course.
The era of action includes performing a new final exam, and if necessary oral (55% of the final grade), and / or a new individual report writing (35% of final grade), on a date to deliver stipulated by the teacher . For approval to the course, the classification of each component must be equal to or higher than 10.
