Began his career in engineering consultancy, specializing in sustainable buildings and energy systems. Transitioning to the energy sector, he managed projects at EDP Gás, enhancing operational efficiency and organizational transformation.

In 2014, he led an O&M team, honing his skills in team coordination and problem-solving. He advocated continuous improvement and led international projects for EDP group.

As an Associate Director at EDP since 2016, he led network planning, contracts management, and innovation. In 2020, at REN after the M&A process where he participated in the due diligence, he drove the company's decarbonization and digitalization strategy, emphasizing program and stakeholder management.

In 2024 he completed a PhD in Engineering and Public Policy, aiming to contribute to industry energy transition challenges, which started in 2019. Since 2023 he is an Invited Assistant Professor at FEUP in hydrogen related subjects.

Currently, as a Senior Advisor at REN, his focused on renewable gases strategy and H2 transition, coordinating several departments of the business units. With expertise in leadership, engineering, strategy, and sustainability, Bruno is committed to driving positive change in the energy sector and connecting the dots for a sustainable future.

He complemented his management training in several institutions, including an Advanced Management Program from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and INSEAD’s Leading Organizations in Disruptive Times.
