Professor Ilan Noy will deliver research sessions taking place at FEP in the following days.
The schedule will be the following:
This workshop aims to provide an in-depth overview of the economics of disasters, and the economics of climate change. For each of these topics, the first part (a lecture) will focus on the main framework the academic community uses to think about this topic, the data that is available (and missing), and the main challenges that this framework and data present us with. The second part of each topic will focus on some specific issues that we think are potentially important, from an economic perspective, how they have been methodologically tackled, and what more can possibly be done. The aim is to also jointly identify, through brainstorming, possibilities for future research in these topics.
The four lectures will therefore be on:
To attend these sessions, please submit the survey no later than Friday 20th at 4:00 p.m.
