Abstract (EN):
In this paper, a multicriteria approach
to identify the adequate wind power penetration in
isolated grids is presented. A discussion
concerning the impact of increasing the
integration of power generation from renewable
sources, in particular wind power, is presented.
The assessment of the impact is a decision
problem where conflicting criteria (maximization of
renewable integration, cost minimization and CO2
emissions minimization) are taken into account.
Decision aid procedures based on reference
trade-offs and on value functions are then applied
to the problem, in a way suitable for a posteriori
judgments from a Decision Maker. Finally, the
possible preferred solutions are subject to a fully
dynamic simulation in order to evaluate the
system behavior following a wind disturbance and
to determine power quality impacts.
