U.Porto PROTOCOLS

The University of Porto establishes protocols with publishers to obtain more favorable conditions for open access publication, so that authors with affiliation with the institution can benefit from discounts on APCs (Article Processing Charge) and exemption from publication charges.

B-on PROTOCOLS

Within the b-on (Biblioteca do Conhecimento Online – Online Knowledge Library) consortium, better conditions were negotiated for open access publications for authors affiliated to one of the institutions belonging to the consortium, such as: embargo periods, discounts on APCs (Article Processing Charge) and exemption from publication charges in several publishers.
