Mission:	The Nobre Lab aims to support the development of research projects in the domain of Biochemistry, to the whole scientific and clinical community of the Medical School, of the São João Hospital Center, as well as from other institutions.
Description:	The Nobre Lab is a unit of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), founded in 1897 upon the donation by Bruno Alves Nobre. It was first directed by Professor Alberto de Aguiar. Today, the Nobre Laboratory is located at the unit of Biochemistry, department of Biomedicine of this Faculty, at the new Medical Research Center (CIM- FMUP). The Nobre Lab provides equipment, technical assistance and scientific specialized counseling for basic/translational research in biochemistry, accounting with a multidisciplinary team from the department of Biochemistry and a researcht echnician who will be responsible for the whole research activities.
