Organization

FMUP has several Management Bodies and is functionally organized into academic and non-academic departments.

The academic departments are organizational units with management autonomy and facilities, combining human, material and financial resources associated with the main scientific-pedagogical areas of FMUP. These departments may be divided into units and host multidisciplinary centres.

The non-academic department - Department of Common Resources (DRC) - has the mission of supporting the operation of FMUP's Central Management Bodies, Academic Departments, Research & Development Units, Pluridisciplinary Centres, educational programs and remaining FMUP activities.
