| Mission: | The mission of the DPO is articulated with the overall mission of the Medical Faculty of the University of Porto regarding the best possible undergraduate and graduate teaching of MIMED Students and Residents of Pathology and Oncology of the C.H.S.João with regard to Biopathology, Oncobiology, Oncopathology and Oncology. The mission includes, also, as two of its major components the development of basic research and of translational research on Cancerous and Pre-cancerous Disorders and the integration of the Medical Faculty together with IPO-Porto, INEB, IBMC and other national and foreign institution, in a Platform for clinical/translational Cancer Research of international quality. |
