Objectives

Training medical students in medical imaging modalities, based on the observation and interpretation of images representing normality or anatomic variants.

Learning outcomes and competences

The syllabus contents enable the students to understand the anatomical description of each organ or system, followed by the radiological anatomy of that part of the body, using the most relevant imaging modalities. The identification of anatomic variants on imaging enables to understand to what extent such variants may confuse the clinical presentation of certain pathological conditions.
