Eligibility for exams

Contínuous simulation assessment: at least 50% of the maximum classification of 1 point.
Contínuous clinical assessment with completion of a log-book, including the elaboration and discussion of a clinical history and the assessment of professional behaviour. : at least 50% of the maximum classification of 1 point.

Calculation formula of final grade

The final classification (FC) is calculated as, in a 0 to 20 scale: Presentation of problem based cases/tests (1 point) + Continuous simulation assessment (1 point)+Final simulation assessment (2 points)+Video assessment (1 point)+Continuous clinical assessment (1 point)+Presentation of short clinical case reports (2 points)+Final theoretical test (12 points=40x0,25+2).

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

All the students, including those with special statute, will have to be present in at least 50% of the presential tasks (simulation and clinical rotations), as to get frequency, which is mandatory to pass the curricular unit. All the students, including those with a special statute, will be evaluated in the same way, that is, by doing a final test and by doing practical evaluations, with simulators, videos, and clinical presentations, in seminars and clinical meetings. The dates of the obligatory presences in simulation and clinical rotaions, as well as the dates of the evaluations, may have to be adjusted, following the law and regulations, when it will be impossible to do so with thenormal schedulling.

Classification improvement

The classification of each non-continuous assessment module and the final simulation assessment may be improved at the appropriate epoch for classification improvement after submission of an appropriate application. For more details, please contact the Coordinator of the Curricular Unit.
