Objectives
Acquire knowledge related to the main environmental problems and their effects on health. Understanding the specificity of research methods in this area, particularly with regard to the quantification of exposures and risk assessment. Understanding the natural, built and psychosocial environment as critical determinants of health.
Learning outcomes and competences
The student will acquire skills to identify the main environmental problems and differences between countries according to the level of development; To understand the relationship between the environment and health events; quantify exposure and assess the risks to health.

Teaching methods and learning activities
A total of 108 hours of student work are estimated, of which 36 are in classroom, distributed in theoretical and theoretical-pratical weekly sessions.
