To perform clinical assessment of patients at risk for digestive neoplasias, precursors conditions and cancer;
To recognize the importance of the role of every doctor towards prevention and management of cancer as well as the role of endoscopy in the treatment of these patients.

Program
Esophageal, gastric, liver, biliary tract, pancreas and colonic neoplasms – risk factors, precancerous lesions and câncer. Upper digestive endoscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic ultrassound. New endoscopic methods of diagnosis, resection and stenting.

Teaching methods and learning activities
Lectures for groups discussion (4hours), clinic traineeship (observation of patients - outpatients and endoscopic procedures - 8h) and individual assignments (evidence based clinical management of a patient, 2h).

Calculation formula of final grade
Final grade will be based on continuous evaluation of clinical skills and knowledge (25%) and the individual assignment (75%)
