3. To learn when to refer according to the severity of to the pathology identified on fundoscopy
Learning outcomes and competences
The objective of this curricular unit is to transmitthe necessary knowledge to identify the semiology
of the systemic pathology affecting the posterior
segment of the eye. In addition, funduscopy
technical training will be given to help distinguish funduscopic manifestations of different pathologies. This knowledge will allow suspicion of ocular
involvement in systemic diseases and to stablish its level of severity creating patient referenciation
criteria.
