Characterize the components of a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS);
Explain how a CDSS works;
Explain how CDSS evolved in recent years;
Recognize the influence of CDSS in the attitudes of health professionals;
Use and characterize a CDSS.

Decision trees, Bayesian networks, what-if analyses, cost-benefit analyses. Requisites for a good decision support system, CDSS components, CDSS historical perspective, influence of CDSS in the attitude of health professionals, characterization of several systems, practical examples.
