Abstract (EN): Until recently, gold was not considered a good homogeneous catalyst, but current developments in this field have been showing the opposite. Heterogeneous catalysts of gold have already been established on their own. Joining the features of homogeneous catalysts (high activity, enantioselectivity, and well-characterized structures) with the well-known advantages of heterogeneous systems (easier separation of the catalyst from the products, possible catalyst recycling, and adaptation to continuous flow processes) through anchoring of organogold complexes on solid materials is a very promising interface area of research. This chapter summarizes the work performed on this subject. In most cases, a non-destructive anchoring process takes place and easier recovery of the catalyst and recycling without significant loss of activity is achieved. Moreover, in general, improved activities and selectivities were obtained for the heterogenized complexes, when compared with the homogeneous analogs, showing that the hybrid materials are potential choice candidates for a wide variety of catalytic reactions.
