Abstract (EN):
The University of Porto implemented a project for the use of e-portfolios in its academic
community. The main idea of this project was to use the e-portfolio as an assessment tool of
the student learning journey and also show the importance of this reflective work for their
cademic and professional life. The portfolio enabled the students to construct a structured
collection of their knowledge, skills and competencies. The application to a case study in
Civil Engineering and to the Learning Outcomes is presented.
