Resumo (PT): O presente documento constitui a versão final do Estudo de Oportunidades de Desenvolvimento, Investimento e Emprego no concelho de Paredes de Coura. Tal como decorreu do esforço de adaptação do trabalho às reais necessidades do concelho, o estudo foi concebido como um plano de acção do Município para o presente mandato, tendo em vista o desenvolvimento de diferentes tipos de intervenção municipal conducentes à criação de novas oportunidades de investimento e de criação de emprego. Nestas condições, o presente trabalho fornece à Câmara Municipal elementos fundamentados para: Apoiar a elaboração de Planos de Actividades do Município para os anos de 1999, 2000 e 2001, proporcionando-lhes uma lógica de organização pluri-anual; Orientar a actuação do Município no quadro das actividades da Associação de Municípios do Vale do Minho; Propor ideias de projecto no âmbito das actividades da Agência de Desenvolvimento do Alto Minho na qual a Câmara Municipal participa; Definir prioridades de investimento e de projecto no âmbito das candidaturas ao futuro Quadro Comunitário de Apoio, tendo em vista designadamente os tempos apontados para a sua elaboração; Enquadrar as estratégias e os projectos de investimento e de acção dos diferentes agentes económicos e sociais representados no concelho, sejam aí residentes, ou utilizem simplesmente o concelho de Paredes de Coura como local de realização das suas actividades.

Abstract (EN): This document is the final version of the Study of Opportunities for Development, Investment and Employment in the municipality of Paredes de Coura. As a consequence of the effort to adapt the work to the real needs of the county, the study was designed as an action plan of the municipality for this mandate in order to develop different types of municipal intervention leading to the creation of new investment opportunities and job creation. Accordingly, this study provides evidence to the City Hall grounds for: to support the development of Activity Plans of the Municipality for the years 1999, 2000 and 2001, giving them a logical organization of multi-year, guiding the actions of the Municipality part of the activities of the Association of Municipalities of Vale do Minho; to propose project ideas within the activities of the Agency for the Development of Alto Minho in which the City Hall participates; to define investment priorities and project applications within the future Community Support Framework, aimed at particular times appointed for their preparation; to frame the strategies and investment projects and activities of the various economic and social interests represented in the county, are living there or just use the municipality of Paredes de Coura as venue for their activities.
