The PhD Program in Palliative Care at FMUP seeks the acquisition of in-depth knowledge in the area of research in Palliative Care and of skills and competence for the exercise of the palliative care profession. It is aimed at physicians and health professionals, as well as students from other relevant areas.
The 3rd Cycle of Studies, with a total of 180 ECTS, takes place in partnership with important and prestigious national and international universities and health institutions.
By the end of the Program, the student should have mastered a specific subject completely, expanded the existing body of knowledge, and should also have become a successful independent researcher.
