This unit of continuous training has as main objective the theoretical-practical teaching of the cardiac auscultation technique. In this unit, the principles of the anatomy and physiology of the heart, the correct use of the stethoscope and the interpretation of auscultatory sounds will be explored.

It is also intended to familiarize with electronic stethoscopes and to critically analyze the correlations with new cardiac imaging technologies, exploring the potentialities of digital auscultation in telemedicine.
