This course aims to prepare students in the field of knowledge of the epidemiology of infections associated with health care, relating the etiology of these infections with the different clinical situations in which they occur. It will also make known the new diagnostic methods in the market so that students can update themselves on the evolution of microbial resistance profiles.
Clinical cases aim to promote the integration of knowledge through the sharing of multidisciplinary knowledge.
In this way, the course will provide a rationale for a more competent planning of combating the global problem that are infections associated with health care, both in the sphere of prevention and treatment. |
