Portuguese Language requirements

It is important to master a basic level of understanding and expression in Portuguese, regardless of whether you are a candidate for study or research. Courses are mostly taught in Portuguese, regardless of the level of study, as well as general communication in the laboratories and study centres.

Even visiting students, whether postgraduate or undergraduate, are expected to meet basic levels of Portuguese language competence. You will find basic-level requirements for each study option.
