Objectives
To provide specialized training in the areas of Forensic Odontology and Forensic Anthropology, to promote knowledge, skills and attitudes of the future professionals in this area, namely in human identification from dental tissues and bone.
Learning outcomes and competences
It is expected that students feel prepared to address correctly forensic cases of dentistry and anthropology by getting a broad understanding of the topic. It is also intended to allow students to develop capabilities to deepen their knowledge and raise their sensitivity and critical judgment, thus promoting their problem-solving ability in this area.

1. Human identification using comparative and reconstructive methods
1.1. The skeleton

1.3. Soft tissues
1.4. Genetic fingerprinting
2. Bite Marks
3. Domestic Violence
4. Forensic Taphonomy.
5. Dating of skeletonized remains: morphological and chemical methods
6. Cause and manner of death: identification of skeletal trauma injuries - injuries antemortem, perimortem and postmortem. Peri-fatal injuries. Postmortem changes.
7. Analysis of articles: Interpretation of results.
