Learning outcomes and competences

This optional internship is intended for students to have clinical contact with patients with pediatric neurosurgical pathology in an outpatient setting, inpatient care, Pediatric Neuroncology clinical meetings, operating room and perioperative care.

Identification of neurosurgical pathologies in children and their hospital orientation.
Cost-effectiveness in approaching these patients.
Knowledge of the simplest and most frequent pathology and its orientation; importance of early diagnosis in neurosurgical pediatrics; urgent guidance of some pathologies.
