Objectives
Provide future physicians with the knowledge, with respect to working with alleged of abuse/misuse, with knowledge, skills and attitudes to identify suspected cases, to promote their accurate and timely diagnosis, as well as to properly directing the victims to assure their protection, treatment and rehabilitation, beyond the issues related to the prevention of secondary victimization and the contribution to a possible subsequent criminal investigation.
Learning outcomes and competences
The knowledge background provided by the theoretical and practical classes will allow to develop skills and competences, that will allow future dotors to be able to properly detect, diagnose, treat and direct the victims.

Teaching methods and learning activities
Teaching methods: Theoretical and practical classes - a total of 40.5 hours , 14 hours will be of contact (34.6%), distributed in 7 theoretical and practical sessions of 2 hours each, on Thursdays from 15:00 to 17:00 hours.
Evaluation criteria: The evaluation will take into account the level of participation during the classes, being required the complete filling of a notebook gestures that includes those that are implicitly contained in the program.
Evaluation: Notebook gestures that have to be completed by students towards cases and questions presented at the end of each theoretical and practical class. The evaluation of the first class will import 2 values and the remaining classes will be worth 3 values each. The final classification will be the averageof the evaluations and wil be given on a 0-20 scale.
