The Specialization Course will be taught in 31 modules, with a total workload of 2592 hours. Its aim is to develop procedures that take into account the various multidisciplinary aspects, through the discussion of clinical cases in groups and topics of differentiation, being offered to the student a preparation also with a strong clinical component, through the frequency of a hospital consultation.
It is intended to help professionals who have started or who already work in the area of Orthodontics and who feel the need to develop their training or who wish a multidisciplinary clinical approach to improve their knowledge. Students will develop skills in screening, diagnosis, treatment plan, and treatment of patients.

Schedule:
1st and 2nd year: 1 monthly module: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.;
3rd year: 1 monthly module, Saturday or Friday and Saturday alternately.
Local: The course is held in the Surgery Department of FMUP (7th floor) where theoretical and theoretical-practical sessions are held, and in the Stomatology Department of C.H. S. João (floor 3), where theoretical-practical and clinical sessions are held. Course Director: Professor José Manuel Amarante
