MDS_4 - ECTS

It is expected that the internship will allow students to follow the practical application of the contents taught in the course, in the day-to-day life of an insurance company, whether in a context such as curative/assistance medicine, rehabilitation/reintegration medicine or assessment of damage to post-traumatic person, associated with a certain type of insurance.

MDS_1 - ECTS

It is expected to make students aware of the ethical and deontological principles that should guide a health professional at work in the field of insurance medicine, and to provide them with a global, organized and theoretically supported view of legal aspects and insurance management.

MDS_3 - ECTS

Students, especially doctors and dentists, are expected to acquire specific knowledge of the different types of non-life insurance, taking into account their particularities and assumptions, as well as their high relevance and social impact.

MDS_2 - ECTS This training unit aims to provide students, as doctors or other health professionals, with specific and global knowledge in the field of life insurance, an area with a growing impact on health in Portugal.
