Within RESET’s framework, the “Gender equality and diversity in academia” online summer school is open to first and second year Master students, doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows and researchers concerned to enrich their research with gender integration. The objective of the programme is to reflect on how gender is taken into account in research, to explore the links between scientific excellence, meritocracy and gender equality, and to disseminate useful tools. The programme is organised in partnership with the universities of Porto (Portugal), Lodz (Poland), Oulu (Finland), Ruhr-Bochum (Germany), the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and Sciences Po Paris (France).
This summer school will enable participants to meet the new obligations of research funders, to conduct more comprehensive and innovative research by integrating gender and diversity, whatever the discipline, and to learn about career inequalities in the academic world and its constraints, so as to better deal with them.
