The Preliminary Concept of the Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences [José Jorge Mendonça]
Reading and analysis of §§ 19 to 83. What is in question is a speculative reading of the historical positions of thought in relation to objectivity: naïve realism, empiricism, critical philosophy and immediate knowledge. Such a reading by Hegel from a speculative perspective on reason, expresses the descending unity of practical reason and theoretical reason and its main aim is to exercise a radical questioning based on the “experience of thinking” provided by Hegel’s text.
