Objectives
The purpose of this course is to provide students with minimum skills, grammar and basic vocabulary, so that they can survive in Korea. Students will be able to introduce themselves, plan the future, make suggestions, talk about their life experiences, ask and answer simple questions about daily activities.
Learning outcomes and competences
After completing the course, students will be able to:
1. Recognize Korean alphabet(consonants & vowels) with 100% of accuracy.
2. Read Korean at a reasonable and comprehensible speed and dictate with over 80% of accuracy.
3. talk about the future plans and past events.
4. describe the reason as a complex sentence.
5. request, recommend, invite, and talk about the past experience.
6. distinguish and know how to use Korean with the appropriate formality depending on the speaker and listener.
7. understand the Korean pop culture and current trend among young generations.
