Teaching methods and learning activities

This course wants to offer students practical training in translation from Spanish to Portuguese, in the various aspects of the process and in different types of texts, in order to acquire the necessary capabilities for the analysis and planning of translation projects, either through the individual work, either through group work.

So the lessons are eminently practical, in-room PCs with access to CAT tools, that it takes to perform the suitable translator's work. So students can have a certain approach to work that may exercise as professionals in the future, as for example the importance of proper documentation and the difficulties that may confront in the translation process with different translation exercises, whose degree of difficulty evolves during the semester.
