The general objective of the seminar is to systematically and intensely accompany students in the preparation phase of their dissertation / project / curricular stage.
Specifically:
1) To develop theoretical and methodological knowledge in the field of sociology on the topics to be considered in the scope of the specialization seminar;
2) Deepen the capacity for analysis and sociological problematization;
3) To deepen knowledge and practices in the field of sociological methodology in the field of specialization;
4) To conceive a dissertation project / project / curricular stage within the course of specialization training.
1) Promote the critical use of the theoretical and methodological knowledge of sociology for the analysis of the problems of the specialization seminar;
2) Develop the skill to search bibliographic, database analysis and secondary sources;
3) Ability to articulate knowledge;
4) Preparation, writing and discussion of the dissertation project / project / curricular stage;
5) Boost autonomous and team work skills, self-learning, innovation and creativity.Bibliography according to the research theme of each student. The required bibliography will be indicated by each advisor throughout the project preparation work.

The assessment is distributed without final exam. It consists in the elaboration of a dissertation project / project / internship.
The dissertation project / project / curricular stage and the work developed by the student correspond to 100% of the final grade. The final grade is given by the respective supervisor, based on the work of the supervisor, namely in the elaboration of the dissertation project / project / curricular stage.
